COURSE CONTENT

This course combines the Intravenous (IV) Vitamin Therapy, Intramuscular (IM) Vitamin Therapy and the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy into a two day course, to enable you to fully exploit your venepuncture skills and offer a full range of wellness therapy services.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is not for beginners. The course will include a refresher in IV cannulation and venepuncture, but you must have previously completed a Venepuncture Practices & Techniques and Intravenous (IV) Cannulation course in order to attend the IV Vitamin therapy and PRP therapy section of the course.

This course is perfect for an experienced phlebotomist who would like to maximise the services they can offer using their vein finding and blood taking skills.

EQUIPMENT

You will get the chance to refresh your cannulation skills using training arms, before having the chance to practice preparing and delivering an IV vitamin drip to one of your class mates or trainer. The price of each course includes a bonus IV vitamin cocktail for you to partake in as part of the live practice.

This will be followed up by delivering a B12 booster injection to one of your classmates.

On day 2, you will get the chance to refresh your venepuncture skills using training arms if necessary, before having the chance to practice preparing and delivering a PRP facial treatment to one of your class mates or a model (feel free to bring your own model if you have a friend or family member who would like a free treatment).

TIMINGS

This is a 2 day course.

There is an online element to complete before the face-to-face day, which should take you around 10-12 hours in your own time.

The face-to-face day starts at 09:30, and, depending on the size of the group, can continue until 17:30.

GROUP SIZES

Group sizes are kept small, to get the best 1:1 experience with the trainers. Minimum group size is 2. Maximum group size is 4.

ACCREDITATION

All of our wellness courses are certificated by Doctor Wellness, a leading aesthetic academy. This training is approved by insurance providers to enable you to provide these services commercially. The course is delivered by our sister company iN phlebotomy training, and is accredited by the CPD certification service, which means they are internationally recognised as part of your portfolio of training.

This course counts as 60 CPD hours.

REFRESHMENTS

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the course. Kettle and microwave facilities are also available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

LOCATION

The PRP Therapy course is delivered at: ME Aesthetic Lounge, 108 Pentonville Road, London, N1 9JB.

The IV / IM Therapy course is delivered at: Chase Health, Wimbledon in London.
