Appalling service and an unacceptable lack of communication.
I first contacted Bloods & Beyond on 6 July to arrange a phlebotomy appointment for my patient. It is now 18 August and, despite repeated attempts to contact them, I have been offered just ONE clinic date across the entire months of July and August. I have also repeatedly asked for alternative dates, including September, and have simply been ignored.
This is not just poor customer service; it has had real consequences. The delay has affected my ability to arrange care, and my professional reputation has been put at risk because I have been unable to obtain basic communication or reasonable appointment availability from this company.
I have given them every opportunity to resolve this directly. They have failed to do so.
I would strongly advise anyone relying on this service to think twice. A healthcare-related service that cannot provide adequate communication for weeks at a time is simply unacceptable.

I honestly cannot recommend Bex from Bloods and Beyond highly enough. I had my blood test done today, and once again Bex was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
I specifically requested Bex again because she carried out my previous blood test earlier this year and was so understanding of my autism and anxiety around having blood taken. Having someone who understands that makes a huge difference to me, and Bex immediately made me feel comfortable and reassured.
The appointment was handled extremely professionally. Before starting, Bex went through everything with me and asked the necessary questions, and she was very kind, patient and reassuring throughout the whole procedure.
There was unfortunately an issue with the first attempt on my right arm. Although there was a vein, the blood simply wasn’t flowing properly despite some adjustment. This wasn’t Bex’s fault at all, and what really impressed me was how calm and reassuring she remained. She cleaned the area, reassured me and then successfully took the blood from my left arm.
Three vials were successfully collected, and the samples were also centrifuged as required. There was initially some uncertainty about the correct centrifuge settings because the information hadn’t been provided beforehand, but Bex handled this professionally by contacting Angela at Bloods and Beyond and obtaining the correct instructions rather than guessing. Everything was then completed properly and the sample kit was posted using the required tracked return service.
Bex was punctual, polite, professional, calm, patient and incredibly understanding. She never made me feel rushed or embarrassed about my anxiety, and she remained composed even when the first attempt wasn’t successful.
I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to have Bex carry out my blood tests again. In fact, being able to request her specifically has made such a positive difference to my experience.
