COURSE CONTENT

Through vitamin IV therapy, vitamins and fluids are infused directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous cannula. Vitamin cocktails can include the famous Myers cocktail, other multivitamins, anti-aging, total hydration and sports performance. By the end of this course you will learn how to cannulate to an NHS standard, and safely deliver IV therapy to real volunteers.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is not for beginners. The course will include a refresher in IV cannulation, but you must have previously completed a venepuncture and IV cannulation course to attend.

EQUIPMENT

You will get the chance to refresh your cannulation skills using training arms, before having the chance to practice preparing and delivering a IV vitamin drip to one of your class mates or trainer. The price of each course includes a bonus IV vitamin cocktail for you to partake in as part of the live practice.

TIMINGS

This is a 1 day course.

There is an online element to complete before the face-to-face day, which should take you around 3-4 hours.

The face-to-face day starts at 09:30, and, depending on the size of the group, can continue until 15:30.

There may be additional time required at the end for those taking part in the optional Intramuscular (IM) Vitamin Therapy. course.

GROUP SIZES

Group sizes are kept small, to get the best 1:1 experience with the trainers. Minimum group size is 2. Maximum group size is 4.

ACCREDITATION

All of our wellness courses are certificated by Doctor Wellness, a leading aesthetic academy. This training is approved by insurance providers to enable you to provide these services commercially. The course is delivered by our sister company iN phlebotomy training, and is accredited by the CPD certification service, which means they are internationally recognised as part of your portfolio of training.

This course counts as 25 CPD hours.

REFRESHMENTS

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the course. Kettle and microwave facilities are also available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

LOCATION

Courses are either delivered in our Training Centre in Bakersfield Medical Centre in Nottingham, or in Chase Health, Wimbledon in London.

COURSES AT YOUR PREMISES (£2,500)

We can also come to your premises to train up to 4 members of staff on a day that will suit you. Courses can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.
