COURSE CONTENT

Some vitamins can be delivered through a normal injection (known as an Intramuscular injection). IM injections can include Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, ascorbic acid and magnesium, which all have great, energy boosting benefits. By the end of this course you will learn how to inject to a medical standard, and safely deliver IM therapy to real volunteers.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is a great entry into the world of vitamin therapy services. Unlike IV cannulation, which requires some previous experience in finding veins and cannulation, anyone can learn how to administer intramuscular injections and start a small enterprise providing these boosters for their local community.

EQUIPMENT

You will be provided with a vitamin B12 which you will administer to one of your fellow students.

TIMINGS

This is a 2 hour course.

There is an online element to complete before the face-to-face day, which should take you around 3-4 hours.

The face-to-face session starts at 15:30, immediately after the IV vitamin therapy course and, depending on the size of the group, can continue until 17:30.

GROUP SIZES

Group sizes are kept small, to get the best 1:1 experience with the trainers. Minimum group size is 2. Maximum group size is 4.

ACCREDITATION

All of our wellness courses are certificated by Doctor Wellness, a leading aesthetic academy. This training is approved by insurance providers to enable you to provide these services commercially. The course is delivered by our sister company iN phlebotomy training, and is accredited by the CPD certification service, which means they are internationally recognised as part of your portfolio of training.

This course counts as 10 CPD hours.

REFRESHMENTS

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the course. Kettle and microwave facilities are also available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

LOCATION

Courses are either delivered in our Training Centre in Bakersfield Medical Centre in Nottingham, or in Chase Health, Wimbledon in London.

COURSES AT YOUR PREMISES (£1,000)

We can also come to your premises to train up to 4 members of staff on a day that will suit you. Courses can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.
